Indian Ice-Cream Manufacturers’ Association (IICMA) is a professional non-profitorganization dedicated to the education and communication of responsible and ethical practice in the Ice Cream industry and strives to promote & enhance the quality, image for safe ice cream manufacturing, networking and guidance to ensure the future success of the Ice Cream industry.
The goals and objectives of the Indian Ice-Cream Manufacturers’ Association are:
- To encourage, promote, develop and safeguard in all lawful ways, the interests and welfare of the members.
- To gather and disseminate useful information regarding the various phases of the ice cream industry.
The Indian Ice-Cream Manufacturers’ Association was founded in 2011 as the National Association of Ice Cream Manufacturers. The Idea of forming the association at national level was prevailing among the most leading Ice Cream manufacturers of India since 2010, which finally comes into existence on April-2011.
IICMA provides a wealth of comprehensive information about the Ice Cream industry of India.
It also arranges seminars on

- Food safety guidance and compliance,
- Economic analyses and market updates,

- Training programs and more.

Ice-Cream Market in India :
The ice cream and frozen dessert market in India is estimated at approximately $450 million in 2009-10. Growing at approximately 12-15 per cent, it is expected to cross $900 million by 2014-15. The branded market is estimated at approximately $200 million and is growing at 20-25 per cent. North and west are the highest consumption centers accounting for close to 70 per cent of the market.

Ltd., an Indian subsidiary of Koelnmesse GmbH – organizer of Anuga & Anuga FoodTec trade fair in Germany, to organize an INTERNATIONAL EVENT / SEMINAR during International FoodTec India& PackEx India on September 11, 2012.
The theme of the seminar is “Emerging Trends in Ice Cream”. Speakers of International repute will highlight on the challenges being faced and discuss on the latest trends in use of ingredients, processing and packaging innovations and breakthroughs in cold chain management systems.
